✝ “Pass Ne Not O Gentle Savior” Trinity United Methodist Church, Wilmette, IL

Pass me not, O gentle Savior, hear my humble cry;
while on others thou art calling, do not pass me by.
Savior, Savior, hear my humble cry;
while on others thou art calling, do not pass me by.

Let me at thy throne of mercy find a sweet relief,
kneeling there in deep contrition; help my unbelief.
Savior, Savior, hear my humble cry;
while on others thou art calling, do not pass me by.

Trusting only in thy merit, would I seek thy face;
heal my wounded, broken spirit, save me by thy grace.
Savior, Savior, hear my humble cry;
while on others thou art calling, do not pass me by.

Thou the spring of all my comfort, more than life to me,
whom have I on earth beside thee? Whom in heaven but thee?
Savior, Savior, hear my humble cry;
while on others thou art calling, do not pass me by.

✝✝ “Jesus, Thine All Victorious Love” Sanctuary Choir, First United Methodist, Downtown, Houston Tx

Jesus, thine all-victorious love shed in my heart abroad;
then shall my feet no longer rove, rooted and fixed in God.

O that in me the sacred fire might now begin to glow;
burn up the dross of base desire and make the mountains flow!

O that it now from heaven might fall and all my sins consume!
Come, Holy Ghost, for thee I call, Spirit of burning, come!

Refining fire, go through my heart, illuminate my soul;
scatter thy life through every part and sanctify the whole.

✝✝✝  “Where the Crowded Ways of Life”  St Andrew's Anglican Cathedral Choir

Where cross the crowded ways of life, where sound the cries of race and clan,
above the noise of selfish strife, we hear your voice, O Son of man.

In haunts of wretchedness and need, on shadowed thresholds dark with fears,
from paths where hide the lures of greed, we catch the vision of your tears.

From tender childhood's helplessness, from woman's grief, man's burdened toil,
from famished souls, from sorrow's stress, your heart has never known recoil.

The cup of water given for you still holds the freshness of your grace;
yet long these multitudes to view the sweet compassion of your face.

O Master, from the mountainside make haste to heal these hearts of pain;
among these restless throngs abide; O tread the city's streets again.

Till all the world shall learn your love and follow where your feet have trod, till,
glorious from your heaven above, shall come the city of our God!
