Call to Worship
Let us sing to the Lord a new song;
We join all creation in singing to the Lord!
Great is the Lord, and greatly to he praised,
For we have known Emmanuel, God-with-us!
Opening Prayer
O God, you make us glad with the yearly expectation of our redemption:
Grant that as we joyfully receive your only- begotten Son as our Redeemer, we may also see him without fear when he comes to he our judge;
Even our Lord Jesus Christ, who with you and the Holy Spirit lives and reigns, one God, in glory everlasting. Amen. [Gelasian Sacramentary; alt, TJC]

The Lord’s Prayer
Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come,
your will be done, on earth as in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who
sin against us.
Save us from the time of trial and deliver us from evil.
For the kingdom, the power, and the glory are yours now and for ever.
Amen.
