  • sarah jane scott - Minister of music / organist

Sarah Jane Scott is a born and raised northern Virginian who moved to California in pursuit of a music education degree from California Polytechnic State University. She is very excited and eager to join the team at Trinity UMC as she approaches her first quarter at CalPoly and looks forward to being a part of the community. She grew up in the music ministry program at Grace United Methodist Church in Manassas, VA, and began singing in choirs and studying the piano at the age of five. She has also had the privilege of participating in choral concerts throughout the Capitol, some of which took place at the Masonic Temple and the National Cathedral.

In addition to her musical background, Sarah Jane has spent a great amount of time on stage. Over the past two decades Sarah Jane has performed in, accompanied, and musically directed dozens of musical theater performances around the D.C. Metropolitan area. She also had the opportunity to study drama at the Shakespeare Theater Company in Washington, D.C. for a year.

  • Mary Anne meyer - administrative assistant

I absolutely love working here at TUMC where there are so many kind and welcoming people. I grew up in Boulder, Colorado and moved to Yosemite National Park where my two children were born. And skipping to more recently, I retired in 2011 from the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation in Sacramento as an Analyst and moved to the Central Coast shortly thereafter. I have two amazing grown children: my daughter is a Captain/Firefighter/Paramedic in Cambria and my son is a Firefighter/Battalion Chief in Yosemite National Park. I have two fantastic grandsons that are the love of my life. I live here in the wonderful community of Los Osos with my short, stubby, corgi dog, Radar. Life is good!
