Transitions Mental Health Association will be presenting a Suicide Prevention Workshop on Wednesday, October 25, from 2:00 - 3:30 pm., in the Fellowship Hall.
The workshop will focus on QPR (Question, Persuade, and Refer) and will be taught by a specially trained presenter. You will be trained to be a "Gatekeeper', someone who will be in a position to recognize a crisis and the warning signs that someone may be contemplating suicide. As a QPR Gatekeeper, you will learn to: recognize the warning signs of suicide, know how to offer hope, and know how to get help and save a life.
All are welcome to attend, however, we are asking that you RSVP to the church office (805) 528-1649 or you may email email@example.com, so we can let the presenter know how many will be attending. All are invited but we are asking that everyone RSVP by
Wednesday, October 18, so we can reserve a spot for you. You
