USPS STAMP OUT HUNGER FOOD DRIVE, MAY 9TH 2026

There was a lot of activity at Trinity on May 9 for the Postal Carriers Annual Food Drive. The Los Osos Post Office asked TUMC if they would receive all of the donations collected from the Los Osos mailboxes. We had 15 volunteers, most from Trinity, who received, sorted, and repacked 1540 pounds of non-perishable food. This was a five-hour project.

We gave 24% to “The Kindness Coalition”, 17% to “Los Osos Cares”, 19% to “Rock Harbor Christian Fellowship”, and the remaining 40% went to our Food Pantry.

Our Food Pantry would like to thank the dozen letter carriers, Los Osos Donors and the 15 volunteers.

And huge thanks to Mike Lindsay,  for organizing this annual food drive along with our local Post Office.
