United Women in Faith is kicking off our “Third Annual Off to College Drive” on Sunday, August 9, and ending on Sunday, August 30. This year we are supporting a student who will be going to U.C. Santa Cruz.  The “Off to College Drive,”  is an opportunity to help foster and/or unaccompanied youth students, who are aging out of the system as they leave Cuesta College and head to a four-year college without the support of a family.  We will gather the supplies the student will need to move into the dorms. You can help by picking up an item description ticket(s), purchasing the item(s) and then returning it/them to the church by August 30, or by donating money, and we will do the shopping. This is an exciting (and scary) time for students…let’s join in this student’s excitement and make her road a little easier!
