    Let us offer right sacrifices to God,
        We put our trust in the Lord.
    In peace we lie down and sleep;
        In the Lord alone do we lie down in safety.

Opening Prayer
  Almighty God, the author of salvation by grace:
  Blot out, we pray, the handwriting made by the law of sin which you have made void in us by the mystery of the resurrection of your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord;
Who with you and the Holy Spirit lives and reigns, one God in glory everlasting. Amen.

    Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who
    sin against us.
    Save us from the time of trial and deliver us from evil.
